Real Madrid legend Fernando Hierro insists nothing should be read into the boos for Cristiano Ronaldo during victory over Real Valladolid.

Real coach Carlo Ancelotti has expressed shock at the jeering.

But Hierro says: "These are normal things and we do not have to give it drama. It is part of the club, the best team in history. This is what happens at Real Madrid.

"These are things of football, we must not dramatise.

"I do not particularly think we need to give it importance. We know the importance of Cristiano, he represents all the values of Real Madrid."
