Real Madrid are kicking themselves over Middlesbrough's sale of Jonathan Woodgate to Tottenham in January.

Real sold Woodgate to Boro without inserting any sort of sell-on clause, allowing the Teessiders to claim all of his £8 million transfer fee last month.
