Real Madrid are reportedly keen on signing Javier Hernandez on a permanent deal at the end of the season.
The Mexican striker is on a 12-month loan from Manchester United with the option of a less temporary shift to the Santiago Bernabeu which could be explored according to The Express.
Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti is keen to bring Chicharito to Madrid permanently but it is believed that he is not keen on paying United's asking price of £17million.
Hernandez, who has netted three goals in six appearances for Real, is wanted by Ancelotti for closer to £12m according to the report.
