Real Madrid great Stielike fires Ramos contract warning: He's 34

Real Madrid great Uli Stielike believes management must be careful with renewing the contract of Sergio Ramos.

Stielike says the captain, should he stay, must eventually be phased out.

He told Marca: "If Ramos conditioned his renewal to playing all the games, I would not renew him ... because he is 34 years old and must understand that he can no longer play three games a week. But if he accepts that, yes I would renew it."

Stielike also had praise for Toni Kroos.

He added: "He is the Madrid player who has the greatest capacity for analysis. Take advantage of his technical ability to bring that into the game. He controls with both feet and that gives him a lot of advantage. He is not fast, but he analyses and executes very well."
