Real Madrid midfielder Esteban Granero was delighted to get on the scoresheet in last night's 2-0 win over Real Mallorca.

Granero says Real are doing all the right things as they hunt down Liga leaders Barcelona.

"The goal gave me peace of mind. I'm happy to have scored in this stadium. We have to continue at our pace and Barcelona will have to slip one day," said the midfielder.

On his own situation, Granero added: "I am working very hard. I'm trying. It's a prize to be here and train with this team. And I think I'm ready to play."
