Real Madrid GM Jorge Valdano has revealed they've made an offer for Werder Bremen star Mesut Ozil. Valdano told ZDF at half-time of their friendly win over Bayern Munich last night that Real had tabled a bid for the midfielder.
"Yes, we have made an offer for him," he said.
However, Werder Bremen's sporting director Klaus Allofs quickly dismissed talk of an imminent move to the Santiago Bernabeu, hinting that the offer was too low.
"It's not worth a negotiation," he said.
Manchester United and Barcelona are also keen on the Germany star.
