Real Madrid have gone cold on signing Chelsea fullback Ashley Cole.
The Daily Mail says interest in Cole has cooled because of the high fee that Chelsea would demand, with a move for Lazio's Alexander Kolarov - a Manchester City target - thought to be imminent.
Jose Mourinho was keen to be reunited with Cole at the Bernabeu.
