Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos admits they paid for not taking advantage in the first-half of tonight's El Clasico defeat to Barcelona.
Real dominated the game before the break, but went into halftime at 1-1.
"We need to show better mentality when in charge of games," lamented Ramos at the final whistle.
"We need to start taking our chances.
"The game could've been killed off in the first-half and perhaps that's what we're lacking."
Ramos added: "Look, we let them get away from us. But four points is nothing at this stage of the season."
Luis Suarez swooped for the winner on 56 minutes for Barca.
