Real Madrid have completed the signing of Penarol midfielder Federico Valverde.

AS says Real have paid €5 million for the Uruguay U17 international.

Valverde flew out to the capital last week to undergo a medical revision and also watched the first team in their Champions League semi-final return leg against Juventus.

His arrival has been set back to the summer of 2016, after he turns 18. He is represented by former Peñarol, Rosario Central and Sevilla goalkeeper, Gerardo Rabajda
