Real Madrid coach Zidane happy to win at Levante: What more can we do?

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane was left happy with their victory at Levante.

After drawing in the first match of the season against Real Sociedad, Los Blancos have narrowly beaten Real Betis, Real Valladolid and Levante.

"We have to be proud of what the boys did [against Levante] as we have just started," he said after the game at the Estadio de la Ceramica.

"We have three victories and a draw.

"What else am I going to ask for?

"Levante also had their moments.

"I would have liked to get the second [goal] before.

"If we do, it changes the game."

It was a hard-fought win for Los Blancos, who were superior in the first half and missed a few chances just after the break when Levante came close to equalising a few times.

"This is football," added Zidane.

"There is a rival that had good, strong moments.

"We started the first half well and at the beginning of the second we could have scored the second and we would have a different game.

"We got it in the end.

"We suffered in a game in which you have to suffer to win.

"They had their moments in the second half but it's normal."

Although Real Madrid struggled to convert their chances into goals, Zidane is happy with the team's creativity in attack.

"I'm not worried about the lack of goals, as this has just begun," he declared.

"We can improve in many things and we are going to do it.

"We are happy with the chances.

"We create many things and that is good.

"We have to continue, and we are going to try to make our goalkeeper suffer less.

"Thibaut [Courtois] is part of the team, he has saved us, but like everyone else, for goalkeepers this is what they want to do."
