Real Madrid coach Santiago Solari is already facing push back from the players after defeat at Eibar.

Solari publicly rapped Raphael Varane over the knuckles for calling for "unity", but Kroos came out in support of his teammate.

"I share the feeling of Varane. We did not have a good match and Eibar deserved that win," said the German.

"It's hard to explain what may have happened. We had prepared well for this meeting, but nothing happened as we planned. We need to improve in the defensive phase, because we have not been up to par."
