Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster has revealed how new signing Royston Drenthe is already making a big impact in the dressing room.

The former Feyenoord wing-back boasts a big personality and Schuster told AS: "Drenthe is Dutch, but he seems Caribbean. And being so happy all the time helps him get along well with Robinho. They both generate a good atmosphere in the dressing room.

"In any case, I've told Ruud van Nistelrooy that he must be like a father with the Dutch... And he is helping them a lot."

On former Chelsea winger Arjen Robben, Schuster added: "Robben is working hard and will soon be united with the squad. He is another with a tremendous desire to do well. He isn't injured, he just had some problems in preseason because his transfer was so messy."
