Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho regrets not working with AC Milan star Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Mourinho arrived at Inter Milan just as Ibra was being sold to Barcelona.

He told Corriere della Sera: "Maybe the one I regret is Ibrahimovic, the only one. We lasted five minutes. He wanted to go to Barcelona to win the Champions League, I was angry with him and told him: you can do that here with Inter.

"And I was sorry for Ibra because he's a great player and an amazing guy, the kind of guy you love, who has a great life outside of football with his family. He lives for family, for football, he is a winner.

"I'm sorry that sometimes people forget what this guy has done, he has won nine championships in a row, no one should forget that. I say this: there is still time to fulfill his dreams with the Champions League, since it is the last trophy he lacks."
