Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti admits he was disappointed with Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes in last night's defeat at Rayo Vallecano.

Ancelotti says the Brazilian pair weren't up to standard on the evening.

Asked about Vini Jr, the coach said: “As for quality, he has gone down a bit. Vinicius, Rodrygo, who missed a couple of shots that he usually puts in.

"Asensio has been good, but the level of the others has been lower than usual."

Asked if Vini Jr was targeted by Rayo, Ancelotti added: "He has not had special attention, similar to the ones he has had over the season."
