Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti admits he's angry with treatment of Vinicius Jr by the Valencian press.
The Real Madrid star has angered Valencia by allegedly claiming in a court hearing that he was subject of racist chants from the entire Mestalla crowd last season. He has since been depicted as Pinocchio on the front page of local newspapers.
The response has angered Ancelotti, who said today: "They are trying to divert the issue, which is that Vinicius was the victim of racial insults, it doesn't matter if there were one or ten. There is a judicial procedure.
"There are media that want to divert the issue from this, it makes me sad and angry."
He also said: "I haven't talked to him about it, I haven't talked, nobody knows. But he is very good, very motivated and happy to play tomorrow."
