Real Madrid coach Carlos Ancelotti praised Dani Ceballos for his performance in victory at Osasuna.

It was a rare appearance for the midfielder and he left Ancelotti impressed.

The Italian said, "He played a very good game, he could be the best on the team.

"He has a lot of quality. He has suffered a lot. He had a season with problems at the beginning due to the Games, with a fairly slow recovery. The Ceballos that everyone played we know."

Ancelotti also was hopeful on David Alaba's recovery.

"We're optimistic. It doesn't seem serious. An overload. His groin bothered him and we've decided to remove him from the field."
