Real Madrid captain Raul has rejected a mega bucks offer from Uzbekistan's FC Bunyodkor.
Bunyodkor count on former Chelsea manager Luiz Felipe Scolari as coach and has been home to former Barcelona star Rivaldo. They actually enjoy an alliance with Barca and attempted to sign Inter Milan striker Samuel Eto'o last season while he was still at the Nou Camp.
El Confidencial says with Raul's deal due to expire in 2011, his representatives were sounded out by Bunyodkor about closing his career in Asia.
But the 32 year-old wants to finish his playing days in Madrid and said: "I am grateful for the offer, but my place is at Real Madrid."
