Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho is taking a keener interest in the Castilla.

Mourinho attended his first official Castilla game on Sunday, seeing his reserves beat Cuenca 1-0.

Aitor Karanka, Mourinho's No2, accompanied his coach on the day.

Among those in action for the Castilla was Juan Carlos, who was handed a Liga debut by Mourinho earlier this month.
