Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho was delighted with Kaka's performance in midweek.

Kaka was outstanding in Real's Champions League victory over Ajax.

Mourinho remarked: "Kaka is a fantastic player who's gone through many difficult times and we must take things slowly with him because we want him to be in optimum form and to be happy.

"We don't want to spoil the work we've been doing with him."
