Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has likened Sergio Ramos to Paolo Maldini.
Ancelotti worked with Maldini at AC Milan.
"Since Christmas Sergio Ramos has been a different player," Ancelotti said. "He was decisive in winning the trophies.
"He has everything that Maldini had - personality, technical quality and the ability to be a leader on and off the pitch.
"I have never compared anyone to Maldini. Sergio is the best defender in the World at the moment."
