Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has dubbed Jese Rodriguez as a "phenomenon". Ancelotti made the comment when discussing PSG midfielder Marco Verratti.

"It's hard to get into the Italy midfielder because it's so crowded. But Verratti definitely has the personality to do well.

"This period now will serve as an experience to him in the future.

"At Real Madrid I have a phenomenon like Jese, but he's sometimes had to settle for a place on the bench."
