Spanish giants Real Madrid are set to beat Liverpool to PSV Eindhoven striker Ola Toivonen.
The 24-year old Swede has emerged as a serious transfer target for the Reds, who are hoping to bring in some quality to assist Fernando Torres up front, but it seems they now have competition with Madrid showing considerable interest.
Liverpool have already had one bid for Toivonen rejected and are tipped to make another moved before Tuesday's transfer deadline but Madrid have made their intent clear as well and are also expected to come in with an offer in the next two days.
