Real Madrid are ready to go head-to-head with Chelsea for Real Betis whizkid Dani Ceballos.

Estadio Deportes says Real will compete with Chelsea for the 18 year-old this summer as they go on a signing spree for Europe's best young players.

Chelsea made an attempt to land Ceballos earlier this season and were even prepared to meet his buyout clause.

But Ceballos wanted to see out the season with Betis before making a decision over his future.

Real are also keen and are prepared to buy Ceballos immediately, but loan him back to Betis next season to maintain his development.
