New Real Madrid manager Rafael Benitez 'admits' his club admires Raheem Sterling.
The Spaniard took the reins at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday, replacing Carlo Ancelotti, and quickly mentioned that Liverpool winger Sterling is on the radar of the Spanish giants.
"We admire Raheem, that's no secret - but he is not one of our players so I can't really comment on him," said Benitez.
Sterling continues to be linked with an Anfield exit after refusing to sign a new contract with the Reds.
The likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City have all been credited with an interest in the 20-year old England international.
