Real Betis are ready to sell Marc Barta this summer.

The former Barcelona defender has rejected new contract talks with Betis this week.

AS says the Andalusians offered the 31-year-old defender a two-year extension, but with a 20 percent salary cut. Bartra turned the proposal down.

Bartra's current deal runs to the end of the coming season.

In order to avoid a free transfer next summer, Betis are now actively seeking to sell the defender.
