Aston Villa star Philippe Coutinho is reportedly heading back to Spain to resurrect his career.

The Brazilian was previously at Barcelona, where his career hit a stumbling block after an excellent spell at Liverpool.

Failing to impress at Barca, Bayern Munich, or Villa, Coutinho is now a transfer target for Real Betis.

Per The Sun, Coutinho was denied a £17 million move to Qatari club Al-Duhail due to injury.

Now he is fitter and is hoping that he can get a loan move done to resurrect his career.

Villa are happy to let him leave, as a loan would remove him from their wage bill this season.
