Real Betis are determined to fight off moneybags Newcastle United over their interest in Nabil Fekir.

Estadio Deportivo says Newcastle are planning a move for the Frenchman, who has 25 international caps.

Valued at £45million, Fekir has been linked with a Premier League switch throughout his career.

The report claims Newcastle would not want to stump up an offer in that region for a 29-year-old.

It also insists Real Betis “do not fear" the Magpies' enormous wealth and are confident Fekir wants to remain in Seville.
