Real Betis coach Manuel Pellegrini admitted mixed feelings after their 1-1 draw with Sevilla.

Ivan Rakitic struck on 79 minutes seven minutes after Ayoze Perez had put Betis ahead.

Pellegrini said: "Without comparing the different games from all the years, because I don't remember them all either, today we played a great game, very complete both on the defensive side, where it was very difficult for Sevilla to reach our area, and the scoring chances that we created especially in the first half, some very clear ones to have achieved a greater score.

"I was very happy with the performance and bitter with the result because it's been a long time since we beat them.

"In the second half, Sevilla got up and got closer to our goal, their great goal was from 40 metres, but in the first half we had very clear opportunities to have defined it. Unfortunately we lack precision and we have not been able to score another goal to have secured the score.

"It is not easy to come to play with Sevilla in their field, they have very good players, that is why I was very happy with the personality and what the team did."
