Real Betis coach Manuel Pellegrini insists defeat at Rangers was undeserved.
Betis lost their opening Europa League group game 1-0 at Ibrox last night.
Pellegrini later said: "Of course I am disappointed because I think we played a good game. We played with a lot of personality to come here to a difficult stadium.
"Rangers didn't have many chances early in the game apart from a counterattack and then they scored from a corner. We had a lot of chances. Their keeper had a few important saves, but you must score if you want to win. So I'm happy with the performance and personality but disappointed with the result."
Meanwhile, Betis defender Hector Bellerin said: "We are definitely disappointed. It was a very equal game. We both had chances but we like to have the ball more and we lacked a bit more possession. We knew it was going to be a physical game and we suffered with that."
