Reading will continue fighting until it's done - Karacan

Reading midfielder Jem Karacan insists the players will continue to give absolutely everything in order to stave off relegation.

The Royals sit at the foot of the Premier League table, eight points from safety, with six matches remaining but Karacan says everyone is eager to fight until it is mathematically impossible to go on.

"We'll keep going until the end - the boys have got great spirit, we've shown that year after year. No one can fault us for that, we always keep going until the final whistle. The new gaffer (Nigel Adkins) has come in and tried to get us all going again," he told the club's official website.

"We've got a few games left, we want to finish the season on a high and we've got to get three points on Saturday (against Liverpool). That's all we can do. If we can get a win, you never know. We have in it us to go on a run, we've shown that last season and this season."
