The future of Crystal Palace striker Glenn Murray is again in doubt.
The Daily Mail says Reading manager Steve Clarke will attempt to bring Murray back from Crystal Palace to the Madejski Stadium.
Clarke, who also wants to sign Stoke defender Robert Huth on loan, is offering around £2m for Murray who helped Palace launch their comeback at Burnley on Saturday.
Murray could move on if Palace land Blackburn Rovers striker Rudy Gestede.
