Reading's Andersen on way to Portsmouth

Reading goalkeeper Mikkel Andersen expects to soon join League One club Portsmouth.

The 23-year old Danish goalkeeper has been linked with a loan move to Fratton Park and has now revealed that the temporary shift will be completed by the weekend.

"I have been notified after practice today that the clubs have agreed on a deal so now I am just waiting for Portsmouth manager Michael Appleton to call me," he told bold.dk.

"I expect to play on Saturday against Bournemouth."

Andersen is third in line at Reading, behind Adam Federici and Alex McCarthy, with the Royals also set to bring in former Manchester City gloveman Stuart Taylor forcing him to develop his game elsewhere in a first team environment.
