Reading's players have welcomed the arrival of new teammate Jimmy Kebe.

"Jimmy is a bit like Thierry Henry as he is lightening quick, elegant and tall. He certainly looks alright," James Harper told the Reading Evening Post.

Winger Stephen Hunt also praised the new recruit saying: "Jimmy looked promising when he came on.

"I haven't seen much of him to be honest, but it was a nice introduction away at Everton.

"I only saw him in training for the first time on Friday because I was away on international duty with Ireland.

"He looks positive and is very fast, but John Oster played well in the position too."
