Reading boss Brian McDermott wants to sign Premier League experience next month.

Blackburn keeper Paul Robinson, Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone and Liverpool playmaker Joe Cole are reported to be on his wish list.

"I feel strongly we need to sign two or three players with Premier League experience, who know what it is like to play in this league," he said.

"January is a hard window but we have been planning for some time and will make some signings."
