Watford defender Adrian Mariappa has completed his move to Reading.
Mariappa ended months of speculation about hid future by completing a £3m move to the Premier League new boys.
Royals boss Brian McDermott, who handed the 25-year-old a three-year deal following a successful medical, said: "He's a fantastic character, he's done really well for Watford over a long period and for a young man he has played a lot of games.
"He's got good pace, and he'll fit into what we're trying to do here, like all the new signings have."
Mariappa is Reading's sixth new arrival, joining Pavel Pogrebynak, Nicky Shorey, Danny Guthrie, Garath McCleary and League of Ireland rookie Pierce Sweeney.
