Reading boss Steve Coppell has played down talk of a return to the club for Chelsea midfielder Steve Sidwell.

"It was a bit of a jokey question," he insisted. "Realistically, he's made a decision and has made a commitment to get into the Chelsea team.

"I've got every confidence that in time he will."
