Reading boss Nigel Adkins doesn't want to lose striker Adam Le Fondre.

Leeds United, with ex-Royals boss Brian McDermott in charge, and promoted Cardiff City are interested in the 26-year-old.

But Adkins said: "I've had a good conversation about the whole situation with Alfie.

"We like him a lot. I started him against Southampton and he came on against Liverpool."
