RC Lens signing Gael Kakuta is urging more of the club's academy graduates to make a return.

Kakuta came through the system at Lens before leaving for Chelsea in 2007.

He declared, "After my departure, I continued to follow Lens. I have always kept in touch with my friends I have known here, players and employees. This is where it all started. I always wanted to play with the first Lensoise team. It was my childhood dream."

And Kakuta has urged Tottenham fullback Serge Aurier and Valencia midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia to follow him back to their formative club.

He also stated, "Aurier, Kondogbia, these are friends with whom I speak from time to time. Now I'm the one waiting for their return (laughs). Their reaction on my return shows that the club is close to their hearts."
