Released Ostersunds midfielder Ravel Morrison is being linked with a return to Sweden.

Sheffield United could give him the chance to resurrect a Premier League career.

The 26-year-old came through the ranks at Manchester United and was one of football's hottest prospects while at West Ham United, but failed to live up to his potential and was playing for Ostersunds until last month.

It is believed that newly-promoted Sheffield United are monitoring the player, and could take a risk on him.

BBC Sport reports Morrison visited the club's Bramall Lane stadium on Thursday, though it is unclear in what capacity.
