Raul Jimenez has welcomed the arrival of Fernando Torres to Atletico Madrid.

Torres has officially signed for Atletico from AC Milan.

Mexico international Raul has struggled to settle since his summer arrival, but insists he can handle the extra competition Torres creates.

"The internal competition is very important, I experienced it with Club America all the time," he recalled.

"It's the same at Atletico Madrid and that helps you to keep growing."
