Claudio Ranieri is set for talks with Roma president Rosella Sensi today. Gazzetta dello Sport says lawyers representing Roma coach Luciano Spalletti have already opened talks about a compensation agreement.
With Roma rock bottom and Spalletti conceding his message is not getting across to his players, Sensi is expected to act this week. However, it's claimed the relationship between club and coach has never been the same since Spalletti flirted with Chelsea 12 months ago. Zenit St Petersburg are ready to move for the Italian once he settles terms with the Giallorossi.
Meanwhile, Ranieri spoke with Sensi yesterday and will be in Rome today for face-to-face talks. The former Juventus coach has already agreed a two-year deal and will bring with him his own backroom staff.
