Former AS Roma coach Claudio Ranieri feels Cesare Prandelli can be proud of his time in charge of Italy.

Prandelli left the job after the World Cup for Galatasaray.

Ranieri said: "I don't want to comment on who should be the next boss. I'm sorry for Prandelli.

"He brought a new philosophy and mentality to the national team."
