Claudio Ranieri has been sacked by AS Monaco.
The former Juventus and Chelsea manager led Monaco to second-place in France.
"I confirm that Claudio Ranieri is leaving soon. We decided to break up. I would like to pay tribute to Ranieri, who did a good job," Monaco Vice-President Vadim Vasilyev declared today.
"It is never easy to take a club from Ligue 2 to the Champions League. But we believe that at this stage we need a new dynamic.
"It was a difficult decision, but normal when the results are not what you expected."
