Ranieri can see Chelsea boss Ancelotti succeeding him at Roma

AS Roma coach Claudio Ranieri admits he could be succeeded by Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti in the summer.

The Sunday Mirror says Ranieri accepts his days at Roma are numbered. In fact, there is a growing belief in Italy that Ranieri will be replaced at Roma by current Chelsea boss Ancelotti.

An American media group have taken over Roma and see Ancelotti as their ideal managerial candidate.

Ranieri said: "Coaching Roma is very exciting but after my adventure here closes I see myself working abroad, in England."

Turning to Ancelotti's potential arrival, he added: "Ancelotti my heir? We're friends but everyone looks after themselves."
