Reigning Scottish champions Rangers are on the verge of sealing a deal for Estonian defender Enar Jaager according to reports.

The Estonian international right-back, who currently plies his trade with Norwegian club Aalesunds, will travel to Glasgow for talks and training next week as Ally McCoist looks to find cover for injured duo Steven Whittaker and Kirk Broadfoot.

Rangers are looking to snare Jaager on a loan deal until the end of the season.
