Brighton's bid for the highly-regarded 23-year-old midfielder Glen Kamara has been quickly turned down by Steven Gerrard's Rangers.
The SPL team are adamant that they have no need to sell the midfielder, and believe that his value will continue to increase according to the Daily Star.
The Scottish giants signed him from Dundee for £50,000 which manager Steven Gerrard believe is an "absolute steal".
But Kamara has done little to hush the speculation having admitted on international duty with Finland that it be would be a "dream" to play in the Premier League.
"Rumours are part of football. But nothing concrete has happened, it is just speculation," he told the Daily Record.
"Yes, it would be a dream to play in the Premier League, but for the moment I am happy to play for Rangers."
