Rangers veteran Lee McCulloch has revealed that the players are none the wiser as to what is happening with the embattled club.
The Ibrox outfit will learn in early July their fate of whether or not the imminent newco will play in the Scottish Premier League or elsewhere next season and 34-year old McCulloch admits it is a bit worrying for the squad who haven't really been kept in the loop of late.
"I don't really blame the manager for having his phone off. He's probably thrown the phone away by now the amount of people trying to get hold of him.
"As far as I'm aware and have been told, any players can walk away. But that's if they want to walk away.
"But that's getting challenged. There are people telling us you can and people telling us you can't.
"So I think we need some clarification on that as well.
"Everybody is in agreement that there must have been things done wrong in the past but I just think it's a little harsh that it's us that'll be getting the brunt of it.""We've not spoken to anybody," he told Sky Sports News. "The boys are getting a little bit anxious that way. We've not had a phone call.
