Rangers players now moving on after financial woes - McGregor

Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor suggests that the players are now moving on from the financial crisis enveloping the club with results showing they are solely focused on football.

The Ibrox club entered administration in February and more has been written about their off-field problems than what the team has produced on the pitch.

That has been a blessing in disguise for Ally McCoist's team because the form of last season's champions has certainly not been their best although McGregor feels that 'Gers are almost back in top shape with three victories on the trot.

"It's been difficult, I'm not going to lie - as it has been for everybody involved I'd imagine," he told Blues News.

"The uncertainty surrounding the place was hard and the boys made a massive sacrifice by taking the pay cut. So it's been difficult, but it's done now and we need to get on with it.

"I think you can see from the last three games that once it was out of the way we've been better for it.

"Hopefully that can continue to the end of the season and in the meantime a buyer can come in."
