New Rangers Craig Whyte is remaining calm about his clubs transfer situation despite missing out on two targets this week.
Israeli forward Tomer Hemed was close to joining 'Gers but has opted for Spanish club Real Mallorca whilst Craig Conway left Dundee United for Cardiff City when he was on the verge of moving to Ibrox.
But Whyte is confident that the reigning Scottish champions will still bring in some quality this summer as they go after a fourth straight SPL title.
"It is very important for us and the fans not to panic. We would like to get players in but we must get it right," he said.
"We will pursue the targets that Ally (McCoist) has identified and then hopefully will get some deals concluded.
"I think five or six new players is the number we have been talking about.
"I think that is what Rangers need."
