Rangers manager Michael Beale has ruled out making a winter transfer move for Everton midfielder Tom Davies.

The 24-year-old has not been involved much in the Premier League this season under Frank Lampard.

Davies has only started four matches and is looking for a loan move to get regular football.

However, Rangers are not the club he will join, with their boss Beale telling reporters: "You caught me on the hop.

“There has been no interest from us in Tom Davies.

“I spoke about him when asked, but he's not going to be a Rangers player."
